Official press release sent to media

Montreal's rock industrial band Projekt F will soon start the recording of their long awaited first LP. No release date has been announced yet however they are anticipating an official release by the end of spring 2012.

This full-length album will be the first record to be release by the band after their EP named "0000", in 2009, which received a very favorable welcome.

When Projekt F was asked about the musical direction they took for the new record, Jonh M. Miller (Vocal) answered: "We took almost 2 years to compose our new record because we wanted a very specific sound. We now have a very rock industrial style, contrary to our EP, which had more metal influences." As for the lyrical style, Miller says: "We have decided to make a concept album. The lyrics are more dark and oppressive than what we did before." Regarding the visual style, the band didn't want to reveal anything.

The band will be playing at the Kinetik Festival in Montreal on May 17th. Kinetik is one of the biggest industrial music festivals in North America. It lasts over 5 days and bands from all over the world such as Combichrist, Panzer AG, Blutengel, Hocico and Grendel will also perform.

We are very excited to announce you all that we've been confirmed has a part of the 2012 kinetik festival lineup! We will be playing with bands such as Combichrist during the Phase 1 night of the festival. The show will take place at the Metropolis on May 17th. Tickets info coming soon!

Projekt F has decided to part ways with our guitarist Riff. We would like to thank him for all his hard work with us during the last year and we wish him all the best in his future projects.

We have 3 dates coming up in July :

Friday, July 29 - TBA, Sherbrooke
Saturday, July 30 - L'hémisphère gauche, Montréal

On these 3 dates it will be possible to hear 2 new songs from our upcoming album. We are still working hard on the new album, we have written a bunch of new songs. More details on the way.

Cause & Effect TV serie

PROJEKT F will appear in a post-apocalyptic television serie called Cause & Effect.

The shooting team is looking for extras to fill up the place. The night will be hosted by The Richard and DJ Black, and there will be a live performance by us.

The shooting is on May 18, 2011 at Les Foufounes Électrique in Montreal, from 21 PM to 4 AM.

It's time for an update.

We have finally find the 2 members that we need. First of all, Danny is now on drums and the man that will replace him is William Hicks. The second member for synth/sample is Sid Crass, he also plays in a band called Clitoris Less Cunt.

Welcome in the familly guys!

We're still working hard to create our new album, there is only 2 or 3 songs left and few lyrics to write.

We are now part of Broken Skull Managment familly. 2011 will be great!

Hey everyone!

Here's a little update

We are on the first part of The Grindhouse Tour. The tour will stop in Montréal at Les Katakombes on august6 and Québec City at Le Cercle on august 7. We will shared the stage with 3 amazing bands, Daedalean Complex, Mary and the Black Lamb and Sykode.

Make sure to be there!

On august 29 we will play the DOH Fest 2010 at Les Foufounes Electriques. This concert will be probably the last one. The time has come to entered the studio for the new album.

Hey guys!

Just a little reminder to say, we will be on stage on march 11 at L'alizé in Montréal.
With a new line up and new songs from our forthcoming album.

We had to postpone the shooting of our music video because schedules was totally fucked up. We will finally shoot in April.

We almost have finished the writing of our new album. No details now... Next time.

In Hell

A quick update to tell you that we will shoot a video in April. We will work with Pierre-Luc Lafontaine, a young producer/actor, who has a huge talent. The video will be for the song in Hell. This song will appear on our next album.
